My 34th Birthday

Alhamdulillah...

Thank you Allah for a wonderful 34 years of life.

Ya Allah, please grant me with the best of iman, faith, beautiful aqidah, good health, blessed wealth, happiness and love forever here, and the hereafter.

Ya Allah, please grant Jannah for my parents.
Ya Allah, please give my mom a beautiful life and good health. Don't let any harm or sadness be with her.
She is my everything Ya Allah.. Please give me the chance to pay what she have done to me. For atleast to give back what she has given me.
Ya Allah, please spread your love, nur and protection to my mom, sister, brother in law, nephew and niece.
I love them so much Ya Allah...
If I don't have the chance to tell them, kindly let them feel it,one day.

Ya Allah, this year, on my 34th birthday I will embark another step in my journey of life.

Today, is the day I will become a wife.

To that Ya Rahman, I pray for good strenght and iman for the new journey. I hope that our love remains forever lillahi ta'ala.

It was a lovely Sunday morning. We all memang dah lebih kurang seminggu my cousin bagi jemputan ni to all of us. Jarang dapat celebrate birthday anak bujangnya yang sorang ni sebab selalunya mesti jatuh pada hari weekdays... Kebetulan dah about a month tak berkumpul, sekali harunglah ye.

Ayu & mom sampai agak awal. Salah satu sebab kerana saya tukang bawak birthday cake.. Takkan lah pula saya nak datang kemudian. Buat grand entrance cake ke? Mau kena buang keluarga nanti. Hehe.
Konon sampai awal boleh lah nak usha apa-apa yang patut ditolong.
Sekali semua dah siap.
Cuma mereka anak-beranak sedang seronok membuat berbagai warna air...

Budak-budak bila dah dengan their cousins memang macam-macam agenda la kan? Ni derang tengok cerita apa entah. Yang lebihnya sebab 3D je.. Siap badan2 pun tergoyang2 hah. Hahahahaha...

I think inilah yang paling memorable. Sebabnya, birthday boy buat ucapan terima kasih pada semua yang hadir. How thoughtful. Macam YB dah Mak Ayu tengok hah. Yelah, ayahnya bagi arahan je, sure dia tulis dulu apa nak dicakap.. itu yang berbunyi YB kot. hehehe..

Birthday boy baca doa

Dah selesai ucapan, birthday sendiri yang bacakan doa and disusuli suara2 kami menyanyikan lagu birthday for him. Sayangnya video menyanyi tak dapat nak upload. Entah apalah masalah blogger ni. Rugi tau.. kalau tak sure boleh share.. From English, Malay, Mandarin sampai Tamil version of birthday songs.

So much fun.

Keep it that way Syaddad. I love you... You're like a brother to bigD. You're his playmate since dia baby. Yang dia kenal childhood friend dia, Abang Syaddadnya lah. We love you so much Adad!

Hari ni my one and only sister's birthday.


It falls on Monday... but a lot of arrangement has been made earlier of course.
No one is of course the birthday present.
It's not like everyday I can buy my sister a present kan?


Setelah diamati... di kaji di tong2 and also ehem budget permits... I settled with something low key straight forward yet classy for my sis. Something just like her.

Its not easy at all to hide that big package from her ok.
plus, our beloved mom pulak asyik tanya risau my sis ternampak lah apa lah..
drama drama....

we all yang excited lebih mengalahkan birthday women, kan? ahhahahaha

so now the plan.
i have reserved a place for all of us to have lunch sama2. I like the cafe so much and i know my family will love it too.
And next, I planned for a family movie out together celebrating my bothDs for their achievement.
Syukur Ya Allah...

But the cafe and the movie venue agak jauh together...
So, plan B...
makan and movie at the same place.

What my sis know.. it's a movie day out.
What others know... a surprise for my sis while lunch.

With help from mom, BIL, my friend, and my beloved bothDs... the plan works!
sis was shocked when we sang her a birthday song and walk in the restaurant while bigD holding the cake and lilD with the knife..
and of course, my sis was busy munching garlic bread. ;)

the moment she knew the song is for her.. she asked us to slow our voices down and we automatically raised our voices up. hahahahaa.... so degil, right?

dia menyorok bawah meja.
hahahhaa...

usai lunch...
moh movie..

layan tengok Avengers.

nasib baik rezeki bothDs..movie tu ada lagi...
time movie tu release bothDs tengah exam.. memang tak boleh nak bawak dernag keluar tengok...

But it is the moment and time spent together on our special day...
or on our someone special's day.

Thank You Allah for all the blessings.
For the chance to enjoy life to the fullest with my family.
We might not be on the same channel most of the time...
But we are family no matter what.

hari meraikan budak2.. hehe

musim maulud.

definitely musim aqiqah as well.

i love gatherings like this.

where tua muda *ehem* berkumpul, eratkan ukhuwah and berselawat beramai2 ke atas junjungan SAW.

so anyways, got an invite from me & sis's guru mengaji merangkap jiran we all for maulud + aqiqah cucunya.

so, macam biasa... gang wajib beserta with me adalah mom, sis & Mak Tun

mereka yang warga emas

yang diraikan

satu je sis & myself berdebar + menggelabah kalau ada majlis kat rumah MakAndak ni.

Mak Andak is what all of us call our Ustazah mengaji ini.

Ayu tak tau cara korang mengaji...

mom mula menghantar kami adik beradik to mengaji start umur 5 years old.

baca muqaddam, mengeja and terus naik al-quran.

khatam sekali, start belajar tajwid and masuk setengah al-quran round kedua tu, start also with tafsir al-quran. khatam kali ketiga belajar berzanji pulak. 

that's how MakAndak mengajar kami semua.

itu process Monday-Friday.. on Saturday pulak we all ada kelas fardhu ain and bahasa jawi.

process tu dari kami adik beradik 5 years old sampai lah kami form 5.

kecuali waktu pelepasan cuti bulanan je we all tak pergi mengaji... hari2 lain masih mengaji.

dari menjadi anak murid sahaja, sampai lah MakAndak bagi kepercayaan mengajar pulak budak2 junior...

ajar basic je lah....

cemana nak ajar advance kalau masa tu mad wajib and mad jais pun asyik tertukar??? T____T

jadi, bila ada majlis macam ni...

kami dua beradik selaku ex student Mak Andak akan sedaya upaya duduk dia belakang makcik2 marhaban yang lain supaya MakAndak tak nampak kami...

tapi kami selalu gagal.

tengah2 berzanji tu, MakAndak akan pause and shouted...

"Laily, Ayu... karang baca etc etc etcccccccccccccccccccccc"

kbye.

Masa tu buat muka kesian pun tak valid ye.

mulalah orang lain tengah bernasyid we all dok revise cemana nak baca etcs.

and mom.... haih no point mintak tolong. dia tepuk tangan lagi ada lah.

selesai MakAndak, ayu balik laju2 and tukar baju because saya ada jemputan for Arianna's birthday party....

mudak lawa dah besar...

Arianna is Azlina's youngest child and one and only daughter.

sangat celoteh pot pet pot pet and bakal meragut hati ramai lelaki...

so, watch out please younger generation!

my birthday lunch

ok. i promise this will be the last enrty pasal my birthday ok?

orang lama tak keluar tengok dunia luar macam ni lah. rumah-office-rumah-office... jadi bila ada picture baru dalam cam rasa macam teruja lah nak update..walaupun its the same story - my own birthday - pffttt

so anyways, lepas breakfast tu... my mom cakap she wants to belanja me and us all for lunch. on her. she even invited my friend and his mom as well...

walaaaaa!!! meriah!

of her choice of course.

hehehehe...

tempat dia pilih ni ok lah. sebab memang kena dengan tekak and citarasa we all semua. it's our family favourite spot actually.

what i like most pasal Jom Priok ni is the sauce....

the steamboat sauces....

lets label the no 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,6,7 and 8 clockwise. no 1 is the cili jeruk and no 7 is the bawang goreng. ok?

siapa pergi nak makan kat sini kan...
korang amik bekas sauce tu, lepas tu combine kan no 2, 3, 4,6 and 7.

uiiiii meleleeeeeeehh sedap dia.. yummylicious..

dia memang ada ala carte and buffet kat sini. both for lunch and dinner.
but we all selalu datang for the buffet jer..

buffet spread dia both kuah sup and tomyam, semua steamboat items, ada ice cream, buah2an, kuih muih, nasi goreng and cordial drink.

complete set lah.
makan la kat situ sampai lebam.

so we did makan sampai kenyang.
memang makan steamboat ni cepat kenyang.... tapi cepat gak lapar...

but we got nothing to rush...and semua pun dah zohor sesiap...
so we all makan dalam keadaan yang sangat santai...
lepak makan borak tambah dan tambah dan tambah...

blissss.....

semua selesai makan... part memalukan saya pun bermula...

yes! i got two cakes...
on the left is from my sis & my BIL and on the right is from my friend.

termonyeh laaaaa...
but worry not! i got my bothDs for this.. they love cakessssss....
hehehe.

percayalah... saya peluk kedua anak2 saudara saya sebab nak cover muka...
muakakakaka...

my sis and my mom menyanyi tak nak kasi can ok.
sekuat alam they scream... OMG..

it's like the whole Giant Mall dengar and can join in... sabar je laaaaaaaaaahhhh....
dah la kena tunggu menyanyi sampai 3 version of songs... siap pulak bila dah habis menyanyi... both mothers siap tepuk tangan..

but they're family.
that's what family do best.

kebetulan kat luar hujan lebat... so more reason for us to stay put and get high on sugar...

on the left is chocolate orange cake from Lavender and on the right is the marble cheese cake from Secret Recipe.

sedap melampau both. the marble cheese cake kali ni bancuhan dia terbaik... tak muak lemak2 nice... siap crust dia pun terbaik lah... and the chocolate orange.. it's dark choc..

and i'm a dark choc fan.. need me to say more ker?? tak yah lah eh.. *blow fingernails*

and i received another birthday present....

hari putih sedunia ku...
dapat radio kaler putih
dapat jam kaler putih...

yay!

all in all.. Alhamdulillah.. i enjoyed my day so much...

I was shocked sebab it was a huge box!

berdebar ok.. bila dah tua2 ni berdebar dapat hadiah.

hehehe...
