My Lucky Day, ker?

hari ni, ade tugasan from mom mintak tolong tukarkan duit nyopping dia for next month. bercakap pasal next month, I plan for a 'jalan jalan carik pasal' with mom... aunt1 will tag along as well. but, dats a different story all together.

so, for todays task, i need to find a money changer and the only reliable place so far is either AmpangPark or JJ Maluri.

Disebabkan hujan, jalan nak ke AmpangPark amatlah hazab..so, i reroute to JJMaluri instead. sampai2 sana, my mood was not good at all... despite of being happy & aman almost the whole day, adalah pulak gangguan lagik.. BOSAN!

anyways, sampai2 jer, terus pegi tukarkan duit untuk mom. since dat it is still raining and i pun got nothing to rush, might as well i go jalan2 and cari la kalau2 ada apa2 yg murah for all the weddings dat we need to attend sepanjang bulan 6 nih. JJ kan ke tengah sale, so, amik la kesempatan kan?

jalan punyer jalan, found dis 6 piece glass set for only RM6.90.... kan best kan? so, i grab 5 of those, and merayap carik yg up skets for Aie's wedding... (Myn's brother).

Sambil2 tunggu derang balut tuh, ada la lagik 2-3 benda yg caught my eye and shall not be revealed here lah.. hahahaha...

Dah settle solat, wrap sume... aku pun terhoyong hayang lah ngangkut melambak barang2 belian ku....and guess who I actually berselisih with??

saje nak menyelit cerita pasal maid nih... i've confront her together with mom & sis. bagai nak rak dia nangis and etc.. mintak ampun apa segala.. and masa bday sis nih lah yg dia nak wat balik hal & blur dia tuh.. jangan x tau.. dia bantai rendam mihun mcm nak kasi makan satu kampung OK! mau mom x ngamuk...

after months trying to arrange nak jumpa ngan derang nih, akhirnya semalam, berjaya jugak jumpa kat AmcorpMall. layan KennyRogers. :P

banyak la cerita tersirat & tersurat yg kuar... mmg la x cukup korum.. just, me, shifa, eton & esa (shifa's hubby).. but, yg penting jumpa...

Happy 38th Birthday Teta...

hari ni, bday Sis... tapi, x sempat nak peluk cium dia pagi tadi lagik sbb kena kuar rumah awal nak amik Mom's ubat.

Left her birthday present kat mak.

Beratur kat UH puneyr la hazab even I came as early as 7:15am (before the caunter even bukak pun).

Lunch time, ajak Kakaks (Ieta , KakZai, KakNita & Letisha) teman lunch & amik Sis's birthday cake which I had ask help from Ieta earlier untuk tempahkan...



Mmg puas hati lah dgn cake ni.. Thnks Ieta sudi tempahkan & also temankan g amik (and tunjuk jalan)..
Sampai penat la dia berjalan.. hehehehe... ni ha terlepak kat rumah org tu..

Bagan Serai, to be exact..
Mom's hometown on my Grams side.
Dolu dolu kala, angkatan my late great2 grandfather, ran away from Padang,Sumatera to Tanah Melayu. Derang naik 7 bijik kapal and landed kat mana, aku pun x tau. hahaha.. yg pasti, the main reason larik sini sebab Sumatera kena ambush and also mmg dh plan nak mai sebarkan dakwah tapi dok delay... jadi dakwah dh jatuh no 2...

Grams big brother, whom took charge back then, has all it takes in terms of money, power & also leadership.
Settling down in BaganSerai as the most known guy is not easy. We had a family business doing 'ais kepal' and Art (doing kerawang and also songkok and other art related thingy) in BaganSerai town. From Bagan Serai up till Selama, all the estates were owned by us.



In year 1930, Grams kawen. Since dat she's the youngest most manja sis of her BigBro, her brother built her a house. Siap dgn peti besi and masa zaman tu, sume org call the house as 'Rumah Tinggi'.

The house i so big dat it can fit 7 big family (consist of anak pinak 8 org satu family) all together. Disebabkan arwah atuk army, selalulah Grams kena tinggal. Which is why, abang dia buatkan rumah untuk dia. Rumah tu, ade 3 seksyen. Depan is for tetamu aka the living hall. tapi, ade terselit one room yg hanya di duduk oleh Grams BigBro. (Yes, dia anak banak ddk sekali rumah tu... dia sorang je lelaki, adik2 pompuan lagi dua sume dia kasi rumah gak siap tanah lagi kat area tu jugak.. walking distance je sume..nama pun kampung kan? :P)

2nd section consist of two extra big room and another hall is for his family... and the last section is Grams area.
Dapurnya besar leh main bowling and ada satu ruang khas siap lubang kat lantai untuk basuh pinggan.

However, along the way, after Grams BigBro passed away, banyak la perampasan kuasa & politik family berlaku. Lagipun, anak2 Grams sumenya pompuan..lagik la kena buli. After all, sume lari study kat luar and Grams halalkan jer rumah tu untuk sesapa yg berkenan sangat.

Allah is great kan, to date, rumah ni djaga oleh my cousin. dia sengsorang je jaga rumah sebesar2 alam tu. :)

Once in a while, we all ada lah balik. Jenguk dia & rumah...
Mom, my first & second cousin was born there.

What ever it is..'Rumah Tinggi' tetap di hati..

So, dats my kampung..

just a recap...i've been an active silent reader to her blog since Nov 2006. back then, her updates weren't as active as it is now. i love reading all her stories, her beauty tips, her cat passion and her ideas in mixing & matching wardrobes!

untill one day, she actually offerred to anyone that would love to have her personalised autographed photo... as fast as a speed of light, i sent her an email with all the necessary details.

and last saturday, i've received an envelope from TV3..my sis, whom working in TV9 was so suspicious thinking that I'll b joining TV3. hahhahaha!!!! nak jadi cerita, dia yg terima courrier tu. :)

all in all, thnks Sasha for a really wonderful picture of urs. Felt really appreciated and may Allah bless u with all the happiness, iman, faith & wonderful success.

for 1st time this year, we had our family vacation. kali ni, BIL pilih johor. mom setuju habis lah as dia banyak kawan2 baik in johor & ikmal is also staying in johor. both BigD & LilD happy x terkata lah.. :)

the name of our hotel is CINTA AYU... :) so, siapa nak jadi my CINTA? angkat tangan!

i had fun. my mom had fun. my sis & family had fun.

fun of being away from home. fun of being away from work. fun of being away from bad bad traffic.

but, i also had a not fun at all moments. which i can't disclose it here. why on earth must it happen? Ya Allah... only you would know why..

i know this is a very late update. but, atleast, i am starting to update and blog again... :)
