Fast & Furious 8

Almost all cinemas were fully booked for this must watch movie. Me & hubs been trying real hard to get the tickets one day after another. Thanks for not being alert and missed out the pre sale.
While both of us trying to book / pay the ticket online we both are like a movie bookie flipping through different cinema apps for the best timing / seats. Hahaha. And finally, we managed to blocked our seats at The Starling, Damansara... MBO's 4D cinemax.. weeee hooo!!!!!


Not even a blinked.
Even though we have suspected how the things going to flip the table around, but none of the story line were expected. The clue to everything had been highlighted since the first scene.
I am not going to give or hint any spoilers. Just giving out a few key points.


I have to say it is just another typical FF series of story. That is only applicable on the action part. Well, it has to be that way if not it wouldn't be titled as Fast & Furious. Duhhhh...


But, what's more important is the message behind. I respect the way the director build up all characters in this movie. The message is very clear.


The honesty.
The trust.
Family bond.
The teamwork.
The intelligence.
The skills.
Walk the talk.
Determination.
Strong will.
Infinity love.


Every single dialog has a message. Even it is from that funny Roman. Gosh that man. Hahaha.


So, if you haven't got the chance to watch, please do check it out ok? You wouldn't regret it.
8/10 from me. (Got to save the other 2 because if I'm Letty, I'll be jealous.. but, she's not! Oppsss!)

MBO The Starling. Please put a sign 'not available' to all products that you don't have it ready yet. 'Dah Habis' and 'Memang Belum Ada' is totally a different thing. It is quite frustrating when we excitedly asked for something and literally the menu was there first before the stocks are in. TQ.

Vincci - Grandmama's Kitchen - My Spy

last week.. secara tak la tahap merancang yang teratur, a friend ajak lepak tengok movie kat Pavillion. ayu on jer.. sebab i need to bergelak ketawa. kerja lately ni, especially hujung2 tahun ni tak agak2 stress nya.. email pun main browse through via mobile jer.. and yes, blog korang sempat baca but tak sempat tinggal jejak langsung..

my friend ajak tengok My Spay. alah yang AC Mizal & Harun Salim Bachik berlakon tu.. dia kata, kita kena support local industry and because its Afdlins. so, ok jer.. boleh bergelak ketawa kan? so, no hal.. jom!

but about My Spy will be reviewed later lah k...

while waiting for him habis gym, ayu tersampai awal la pulak kat Pavillion. so, diriku merayap dan rayap dan rayap...

sekali tengok macam berebut2 orang dalam Vincci. not really a Vincce boutique lah.. but Padini Store dekat area Stage tu hah...

ayu singgah sebab tengok ramai orang.. rupanya sale.. i mean, semua tempat pun sale but i don't know why ramai pulak kat dalam tu.. and yes, i am one of them. kaypoh punya pasal kan?

hehehehe...

but later on my friend dah call.. dia kata dia dah sampai.. laju2 la ayu bayar and terus ke tempat yang dah janji nak dinner before we went for movie..

yer..laju2 bayar.. maknanya apa tuh??? membeli lah kannnn???

and yes, i choose Grandmama's Kitchen for dinner..

satu, tak ramai orang. dua, senang dekat dengan GSC and tiga, sebab tak bising macam food court.

but my friend dapat parking ya haaazaaabb... so, i ordered that Umbra juice dulu.. dahaga la plak kan? bukan nya nak makan sangat pun..

so, that's my Ying Yong Kung Foo and his Chicken Soup and Garlic Bread.

ahhaahahha... ada kisah tak puas hati orang tu dapat bread satu jer.. but dia adalah redha.. so, bagus. :P

lepas makan, terus la pegi GSC...

keseluruhannya... My Spy ni sumpah lawak tak makan saman ok..

syarat2 korang tengok cerita ni is.. JANGAN SESEKALI MENCARI MESSAGE TERSIRAT MAHUPUN TERSURAT...

sebab, its TOTALLY leisure...

just sit, relax, watch and laugh.

mula mula start dah berkerut dengan perangai Harun Salim Bachik (Salleh) dengan gadget nya.. and please ye.. yang tak menahan is all his gadget yang bersuara adalah suara bapok yang paling tak boleh blah. hahahhaha....

and AC.. idea bagus.. style gempak but gelojoh lah...

banyak la babak yang ayu memang akan ingat... babak AC bercakap dengan Maria dalam bahasa Jepun and Indon tu.. babak Harun Salim Bachik jadi patung kat gallery, babak kereta Harun Salim Bachik tak nak bukak sebab nada suara tak match...

semuanya adalah lawak spastik yang memang lawak..

kalau korang tak de keje... pastu sangap.. kepala blank..

adalah disarankan 100% melayan cerita ini.

ESTET ~ by Mamat Khalid

somewhere last week, i was buzzed by KuE asking samaada i will be avail or not for the launching of buku Estet (filem Estet) and also the preview of the music video clips of filem Estet tu...

memang terkejut and etc.. but, I really wanna go laaa...

pulak tu, dah lebih sekali jugak la KuE ajak ayu to macam2 event but selalu tak de rezeki.. but this time, it is my day lah kot.. :)

i came in dalam 10 minutes late jugak lah.

berebut parking dengan someone ni. ayu siap dah nak muncung2 jugak lah dengan tuan punya isi kereta wira tu.. memang ayu dah buat muka pun.. sebab rasa sangat tercabar and menduga kemarahan betul..

muakakakaka.. rupa2 nya dia pun lambat..haruslah gelabah nak carik parking segala kan?

this event was held kat Istana Budaya, Jalan Tun Razak.

...and from the very beginning lagi ayu dah ask KuE apa dress code segala bagai... and KuE terus ask brother Mamat Khalid via FB and korang tau apa Mamat Khalid reply?

"pakai la apa pun..janji datang.."

loh pulak... since I am from work, so, obviously ayu takkan ber'jeans' yang obviously the NO number one lah kan?

even tak kena lah jugak, but boleh laaa... hahahaa...

ha..ni lah dia dua orang yang bagi ayu opportunity datang launching ni.. Thanks to Mamat Khalid for extending the invite to KuE and thanks to KuE for extending the invite to me pulak.

bila semua yang sepatutnya sampai, dah sampai...without any delay, majlis pun diteruskan..

the one yang kiri sekali with the purple kurung is known as Kak Jib. She's one of the 'orang kuat' disebalik filem 'Estet' ni.

Kak Jib juga merupakan MC for that evening. Lepas sepatah dua kata, Kak Jib terus invite brother Ajami untuk menyerahkan the very first copy of buku filem Estet. Masa ni barulah ayu tau yang Ajami is the one yang buat buku tu... va va va...

right after, Ajami pulak bagi his sepatah dua kata, followed by Mamat Khalid, himself.

Basically, 'Estet' is his very first baby. frankly, I think 'Estet' akan box-office.

hanya dengan berada kat situ.. with all the cast and 'family', it is already felt like 'I'm in the movie' feeling.

i really hope 'Estet' wont disappoint me this December.. insyaAllah.

seriusly.. i liked Ayuh Kawan personally..

pulak tu, you boleh macam tak percaya and will tengok berkali2 lagi sebab Awie actually sang it in TAMIL!!!!

dengan pengambaran dalam estetnya... aduh! memang layan la..

not those layan yang you akan kagum dengan all the technology or the effect yang power dahsyat tau..

this layan yang you felt like home.

as a malaysian, you can really feel the perpaduan from this song.

pulak tu, according to Mamat Khalid, he wanted to 'bring up' the clips before the movie sebab, nanti bila movie dah out, dia nak all audience menyanyi sekali lagu tu dalam panggung...

sure gempak kan?

selesai launching... press kumpul all cast setempat and bergambar.

semuanya sporting.

an even obviously, the whole cast adalah berlainan bangsa, korang leh tau derang rapat and respect each other tau.

Jasmine adalah sangat cantik.... and her saree adalah sangat meletop!!!!!!!

very fluent in BM and very soft spoken.

katanya, ramai gak producers dah nak start ngap dia, but she hold and rejected everything untill 'Estet' keluar di pawagam.

btw, lupa nak inform.. one of the houses used dalam filem ni, adalah rumah family KuE tau.. but masa shooting, KuE tak de.. which is why jugaklah KuE was invited for this i think...

alah, kalau bukan sebab ni pun, KuE sure dapat invite jugak kot..:)

and makanan adalah sedap...
