There are about 550 refugee families residing in and around Kuala Lumpur. They come from Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Palestine, Pakistan, Eritrea and more recently, Syria. Fleeing from war torn lives and political persecution, they have chosen to seek refuge here in

"Feed a Family" is a campaign by Muslim Professionals Forum (MPF) and Young Muslims Project (YMP), in partnership with Malaysia Social Research Institute (MSRI) and Hero Market. Launched on 1 st June 2013, the campaign aims to raise RM200 worth of basic food necessities per family. Each family will be given a month's supply of rice, cooking oil, flour, milk powder, tea, sugar, lentils, pasta and more. The campaign ends
